Introducing ‘TIRA’, the fifth and final single taken from Bristol based producer KREED’s forthcoming album project ‘A Brief History’, landing September 30th.

This final offering sees KREED team up with the exceptional vocal talents of Nãnci Correia. Born in Lisbon but raised in South London, Nãnci first came to light as part of ‘Nãnci & Phoebe’, the underground UK Jungle sensation. Since then, her solo work has taken the scene by storm with a collection of deeply introspective and soulful releases, experimenting further with influences of R&B, Jazz, and Latin music.

KREED & Nãnci Correia have joined forces on ‘TIRA’, a track that twists and turns between influences spanning from R&B to Balie Funk. ‘TIRA’ translates to English from Portuguese as ‘strip’ or ‘throw away’, and shows Nãnci exploring lyrical themes of stripping away negative energy and thoughts, with a vocal performance that is harmonically rich, detailed and compelling. This is supported by an instrumental from KREED consisting of intricate percussion, wall-shaking sub bass and expressive melodies.

‘A Brief History’ LP is due for full release on 30th September and will be available across all major digital/streaming platforms, also accompanied by a physical release of 12” heavyweight 180g vinyl.
